3 days Mekong Delta Tour Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh

Mekong Travel offers daily Mekong Delta Tour Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Chau Doc ( /D )

We will pick you up at 103 Sisowat, International floating port, Phnom penh. at 11:45 am and board the speed boat to Chau Doc, Vietnam.

Arrive at Chau Doc around 5.30 pm. We guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to check in the hotel. Enjoy an Have dinner and stay overnight in Chau Doc.

If time permit, you will visit Sam Mountain and the cave pagoda. From the summit of the mountain, admire the panoramic view over the flat rice fields around the Vietnamese-Cambodia border. (we can do this the next mornng after or before the Tra Su boat trip).

Day 2: Chau Doc –Tra Su Sanctuary – Can Tho ( B/L/D)

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will go on the car drive and take a motor boat trip to see the floating fish farm and the floating village. Visit the local Cham minority village in their traditional weaving village.

You will continue the tour to visit Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds. Back to Chau Doc, and depart for Can Tho with local lunch break en-route.

You will check in the hotel on arrival, and have break. Free at leisure. Have dinner and stay overnight in Can Tho. Overnight in your proposed hotel in Can Tho.

Overnight at your chosen hotel in Can Tho. ( home stay can be arranged on request).

Day 3: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh city (B/L)

After breakfast, take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River), to see the floating market of Cai Rang which are the liveliest in the region.

You will probably have tried Vietnamese vermicelli soup so now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the local people. Learn how to cross a “Monkey Bridge” which is built from a single bamboo.

Boat to the pier for a vehicle transfer to Ben Tre, and enjoy other boat trips and local authentic Mekong Delta.

 A smooth routine on car drive, and passing the green rice fields, will lead you to the beautiful rural areas.

We will board the motorised boat for Downstream the Mighty Mekong.

Have a boat cruise up to the small waterway for an other beautiful small waterway into the hidden authentic restaurant for a delicious lunch.

After Lunch, we will take a three-wheeled motorized rickshaw touring inside the village to enjoy the local greenery surroundings and local agricultures.

Then the amazing hand-rowing boat trip on the small canal – fully covered by the shadow of the water coconut’s tree and cool breezes – will be your other Gorgeous scenery.

Lastly, we will walk to visit the local coconut candy making. you can see the process from start to finish and sample hot candies juts right at the place.

Boat back to the Pier and our awaiting a/c vehicle for drive to Ho Chi Minh. On arrival, we will drive you to your hotel and end services on arrival about 5pm.
